My process always begins with understanding the audience as deeply as I can.
I’m a highly sensitive person and a trained life coach, and I’m deeply interested in psychology. I use that as a superpower to connect with the audience’s feelings with empathy and emotional precision.
I only start writing when I have clarity about what they want (and beyond that, what they really really want), what they fear, what they’re tired of, and what they need to believe in order to say yes.
I also spend time reading the business owner’s existing copy to understand their voice and tone: the rhythm of their sentences, the expressions they naturally use, and the ones they don’t.
Some brands are more poetic, others are more direct, grounded, or energetic. That matters!
From there, I shape the message so it feels true to the brand’s voice while still guiding the reader somewhere meaningful.
